2002 RAV4 Transmission Hard Shifting
One word “Outstanding”!!
My RAV4 transmission started periodically having shifting issues. Vehicle has 100,100 miles. I had a few transmission shops check it out, couldn’t find the problem. Against my own better judgement, I took it to Toyota dealership. They could not find a problem with it being that no codes showed after a scan, told me I needed new transmission!
I didn’t believe them, this vehicle has been serviced and garaged for 20 years! Started doing research on line for concerns about 2002 RAV4 transmissions. I was able to find the original bulletin that Toyota released in 2006 about the ECM problems with this model. Surely this Toyota dealership had access to this information but instead tried to sell me a new transmission. I found Circuit Board Medics online, read reviews and contacted them. They were very knowledgeable about the ECM problems with this model. As a last ditch effort to fix my RAV4 transmission, I made the decision to send my ECM to them. The process was very easy to understand. I sent it to them on a Friday and received it back the following Friday. I installed it, followed the instructions that they sent me, said a prayer and went for a drive. I have been ecstatic how well the transmission has performed, like new!!!
Do not waste your time or money at a dealership!!! Circuit Board Medics saved me thousands of dollars!
I was ready to trade my RAV4 in and get another vehicle. Now my RAV4 is good for another 100,000 miles!!
Thank You Soooo Much!!
