Complete Control Harness

It gave my Bassett hound a sore leg after six uses. It took about a week for her to put weight on that leg again. Never from your store and brand again.

The harness itself is pretty bulky. The clasps are also too big and bulky. They are sometimes hard to unhook. The front hook on the harness is big. Its difficult most times to get the standard lobster claw hook from the leash attached and unattached. I think there are better harnesses that are more affordable than this one.

We bought the size medium for our Havanese as this was what the online calculator recommended based on weight and measurement. We got the harness and tried it on, we didn’t even make it down the driveway before she was out of it! Do not trust the online calculator , go by the dogs neck size or you will be watching the dog run away. Do not take the tags off, as we did this and are now NOT able to return or exchange as it’s considered worn. Very poor customer service - buyer beware or suffer the same fate as being out 75 bucks and no resolution from the company

We have an 8 lbs maltese, and the scale of the harness was far too large. The fabric portion covered his entire back and down the sides of his body. The harness hardware ans straps were the same scale as they would be for a medium/large dog. This made the clasps so big that there was limited adjustability around the neck. We've purchased many other canada pooch products we've loved (highly recommend the splash suit and soft shell boots), but this product fell flat in design and execution. I would discourage purchasing this if you have a small dog.

If you have a fairly compact bully type I'd skip this harness. I cannot get a good fit and the side buckle rubs badly in her armpit. The back loop works great but when I use the front loop the harness gapes and twists with any leash pressure, regardless of how tight the harness is. I bought based on my dogs measurements.
