I have two GS dogs

I have two GS dogs who have problems with allergies. My vet put them on a prescription diet which worked for one of my dogs but not the other. The prescription kibble was highly processed and the main ingredient was corn. Overall I was not happy with the prescription diet because my once shiny dogs now had dull coats and I still had an itchy dog, plus it was super expensive. So I decided to try another dog food with better ingredients and no meat protein. I chose Open Farms Kind Earth Premium and so far I have been very happy with the change. The price point is better and I feel this product has better ingredients. My dogs are once again shiny and the scratching has almost completely gone away. I have been able to transition one of the dogs over to Open Farm Salmon and Open Farm pork kibble. The other dog starts scratching as soon as I make any changes so we will stay with Kind Earth Premium for now. I add freeze dried chicken as a topper and my dog is actually gaining weight on this combination. I am very happy with Open Farms products and hope we have a long relationship

So far, my dog likes the vegan food!

I am mostly vegan myself and so I choose animal friendly (welfare) products that are good for both human / animal slaves. I hate animal cruelty and this is a great addition to my dog's diet balanced with animal proteins that I try to purchase from humane certified and organic sources. She likes the kibble as a treat and mixed in with her chicken and salmon feed.

Great food

I’m glad I found this. One of my dogs has a weak immune system and can’t eat meat. This helps. She eats it up along with fresh vegies and eggs.

Not sure yet. Still mixing it with the other food. He seems to like it. We will see in a week.
