They work great for are pitbull mix who had surgery last year. Nothing worked for her even the toe guards. She was a rescue and her pads were too thick so the guards never touched the floor. These work well and she leaves them on all day. They do slip off when she is lying down for extended periods but that is to be expected. We call them leaderhosen as a family's inside joke.

My dog yeets off regular dog shoes before I can even get all of them on. These are perfect for him and stay on like a charm.

These are a must for the winter and hiking with your dog! I love them.
